Future plans.
Posted by: | CommentsIn the next few weeks things are going to hot up. I’m going to shoot some video and upload it to youtube with a link back to this site.
Maria Andross is known as the queen of video and iv’e been watching a lot of her stuff on youtube. She comes across as so sincere and her enthusiasm reminds me a lot of Alex jeffreys. This really is good way of getting your message across. Gotta be a lot of fun as well.
As you can see iv’e added a picture of my ugly mug onto the site. So at least you can see who is babbling on. My long suffering partner Angie thinks it will drive people away, I think she was only pulling my leg though.
The twitter account is going well with over 460 followers. What great way to link up with other like minded people. Micro blogging is here to stay. I recommend signing up today, after all its free. I have already made some great contacts.
I hope in the very near future to start giving some freebies away from this site. I am in the process of writing an ebook about my experiences so far. The ups and downs of being a newbie, now that sounds like a good title. Thats the first freebie on the near horizon and there will be more.
With free stuff in mind please sign up for my updates. I promise I will not bombard you with emails and never will I give out your email to anyone else. I hate spam as much as anyone.
To your future success.

Why everyone needs a mentor.
Posted by: | CommentsIf you think about it, we are all mentored right throughout our life. By our parents, teachers even the boss at work. The most simple of tasks have to be learned, like tying your shoelaces( Actually I still need some help in that department) The point is though, that someone shows you how.
When you start a new job, somebody shows you what to do. Learning to drive, starting a new hobby, always someone there to teach you, and you in turn teach others.
So is starting a new business on the internet any different?
No of course not. I made that mistake and continued making that mistake for a couple of years. I bought every ebook that promised to change my life. I’m not saying that all the information is rubbish, but their never the complete picture. Mostly they sell dreams.
I tried to map out my own way. I knew that there were others making money on the net, I just couldn’t figure out how. I just kept going round in circles. What I needed was someone to take me by the hand and walk me through every single step.
Thats how I came to be on the Alex Jeffreys coaching course. Now I have a mentor. So at last I have a plan for the future and a road map for success. Now for the first time everything has become clear, the tasks I did wrong, the tasks I did right, even the order that I should do things in.
Ok i’m still on the bottom rung, but at least i’m on the ladder, and i’m climbing up it everyday. Without a mentor I would still be going round in circles.
I hope you all shine in 2009.

Google analytics
Posted by: | CommentsI thought as I have mentioned google analytics in a previous post it would be a good idea just to explain why its such a powerful tool. Once installed on your blog it gives you the ability to track your visitors on every page. It also shows you how traffic found your site and how long they stayed there. It does this through eighty different reports.
It gets better its FREE!
Happy blogging.

A good time to plan.
Posted by: | CommentsHi folks,
well the new year is well and truly rolling now and this is a great time to sit down and plan your future out.
This year will see a massive change in my life as I work to make my living off the internet. I also want to move to France lock, stock and barrel sometime in the next twelve months. So a very busy few months ahead.
I must admit I would have liked to be a little further up the road already, but the next few weeks will see a big change in my position on the world wide web as I implement the traffic building techniques that i’m learning right now.
Although planning is very important, it is also good to look back and see how far you have come. Just a few weeks ago I did not have a blog or know anything about google analytics. Each new thing that you learn, no matter how small, is a step forward.
Positive thoughts my friends.
