Well that was a fantastic experience. Ten minutes from the spanish border, and twenty minutes from the mediterranean sea. My short stay in Ceret based at the foot of the Pyrenees was over so quickly, but in that time I had plenty of opportunity to think about my online business.
The warm sunshine, the relaxed way the locals conducted business and the beautiful views all made me realise that it was a change in lifestyle that i’m after.
Money is important to us all, but if I can earn as much money online as I do in the JOB, and that enabled me to live a more relaxed lifestyle then how happy would I be?
Sometimes you have to just work out what your real motives are.
Imagine waking up in the morning without the alarm clock.
Imagine not having to commute to work.
Imagine having no boss telling you what to do.
Imagine not having to worry about the credit crunch.
My motives are clear to me now and it took a seven day break in the south of France to prove it.
I want to earn at least the same ammount as I do now and earn it with the warm sunshine on my back.
I want to live a more relaxed lifestyle.
I will achieve that this year.

Do you know I lost my way a little last week. I had trouble getting my camcorder to work properly and became a little unfocused. Frustrated really. I so wanted to get a video clip onto this blog. Turns out that its a software problem. So the reality is i’m set back a week, not the end of the world I know.
The real problem though was planning.
I have talked about the importance of planning before and have got my long term plans in order, but it was the short term that was catching me out. I had forgotten to do a weekly plan. So reverted to my pre-mentor days. Instead of having daily tasks to do, I had nothing set so I began to hop from one thing to the next. I would check twitter and then facebook, or check my emails. It is so easy to just drift on the internet.
Then I realised that I was going nowhere. So I took a couple of days out and planned out my jobs for the following week. So come tomorrow I will know exactly what I am doing right from the start.
Its a good feeling to be back on track.
